Mercer County New Jersey Business Owners Share Best Practices In Day-Long Facebook LIVE Videos to Commemorate Inaugural National SBDC Day
On March 22, 2017, NJ Small Business Development Center at The College of New Jersey (NJSBDC at TCNJ) leveraged the power of LIVE social media video when it featured six Mercer County, NJ businesses on Facebook Live as part of National SBDC Day. Local entrepreneurs shared inspirational insights on how they moved their small businesses forward.
SBDC Day is a national, collective proclamation of the success and impacts America’s Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs) have across the nation in economic development and the small businesses community. America’s SBDC New Jersey will join with the other 49 states’ SBDCs to celebrate the first America's SBDC Day TODAY, Wednesday, March 22, 2017. Nearly 1,000 offices nationally will join in promoting – via social media and live and other events – the core mission and successful outcomes of America’s SBDC program. Customers Bank Commits $5,000 for SBDC at TCNJ's networking & outreach Keep It Local Networking program geared toward established businesses across Mercer County. The bank will also support the SBDC at TCNJ's efforts to help connect businesses with information, advisement, and resources to help their companies grow.
Since 2015, our center has been hosting regular "Keep It Local" networking events at locations all over Mercer County. These incredibly successful morning events invite local business owners to come and enjoy great networking along with breakfast. We are thrilled to announce that we have another Keep It Local networking event on Thursday, May 26th at TCNJ's Barnes and Noble Cafe, and our Spanish Business Center is holding its first "Keep It Local Latino" event for Spanish-speaking business owners on Tuesday, May 31st at Restaurante El Mariachi .
