Artist Relief, a new coalition of national arts grantmakers. This new initiative includes immediate, unrestricted emergency funding of $5,000 for individual artists of all disciplines to help those in need due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Creative Capital has created a list of resources for artists working in all disciplines, as well as arts philanthropists, and arts professionals including various Grants.
Brewery Strong Nonprofit Launched to Raise Funds for Hospitality Worker – Brewery Strong is a non-profit organization that supports people in the brewing, bar, and restaurant industries through programs offering financial assistance, continuing education, and other professional development opportunities in New Jersey. Brewery Strong
Restaurant Worker’s Community Foundation is an advocacy and action nonprofit created by and for restaurant workers. Providing resources and relief funding for restaurant workers. Funding relief applications are being accepted by Southern Smoke a nonprofit 501c3 foundation offering Emergency Relief Programs to those employed by or own restaurants or bars, or are employed by a restaurant or bar supplier.
The Tri-State Relief Fund: Support Non-Salaried Workers in the Visual Arts, administered by New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA), will distribute one-time unrestricted cash grants of $2,000 to freelance, contract, or non-salaried archivists, art handlers, artist/photographer’s assistants, cataloguers, database specialists, digital assets specialists, image scanners/digitizers, and registrars.  Click here for application information.
Restaurant Rescue Fund (RRF) – Hart to Harvest Restaurant Rescue is offering grants that will average $25,000, though an emphasis will be put on essential micro-grants of around $5,000. The RRF’s fundraising goal for 2020 is $10 million, which means a lot of potential help for the restaurant industry we know and love. The restaurant industry is vital to our culinary future. Bacardi Limited has pledged $3 million in relief to bars and restaurants affected by the COVID-19 shutdowns as part of its #RaiseYourSpirits campaign.
Freelancers Union created a relief fund that will offer financial assistance of up to $1,000 per freelance household.
Goldman Sachs – in April announced they were committing $300 million to support small businesses impacted by COVID-19 through several initiatives, including a Small Business Stimulus Package allocating $250 million in emergency loans and $25 million in grants.
Faire, an online marketplace startup, launched a financial calculator tool that helps small business understand the changes in their finances before and after COVID-19.
