America’s Small Business Development Center – New Jersey at The College of New Jersey is Currently Seeking a Bilingual County Program Assistant.

The Bilingual County Program Assistant is a part-time position that requires up to 20 hours per week. We are looking for a detail-oriented candidate who can demonstrate knowledge of the Mercer County Latino business community to coordinate administrative operations for English and Spanish small business events, counseling and projects.

They must be very self-motivated, willing to learn, able to follow directions and work well independently. The ideal candidate will support outside events with materials preparation, communications with partners, speakers, attendees, counselors, and clients. They will also manage administration and outreach and deliver and retrieve class materials and signs to and from program locations.

Our candidate must be a go-getter who thrives on organization, timeliness and record keeping. We are looking for someone who is flexible to work afternoons, evenings and Saturdays. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and easily adapt to managing center software. This is an entry-level position with opportunity to grow for the right candidate. Fluent reading, writing and speaking Spanish is a must.

The starting salary is for the Bilingual County Program Assistant is $15.00-$18.00 per hour based on experience.
